摘要: In this paper, we present a scheme for preparation of multicomponent motional coherent and squeezed coherent states of the quantized centre of mass of an ion trapped in a one-dimensional harmonic potential and driven by two travelling-wave laser beams tuned to the nth red and blue vibrational sidebands, respectively. In addition, our scheme also provides experimental possibility for quantum state engineering.
