  • Infrared Spectroscopy at low temperatures and at high magnetic fields

    • Infrared spectroscopy is a powerful experimental tool for investigating the low-energy excitations of matter. Here, we present two setups for infrared spectroscopy measurements in Synergetic Extreme Condition User Facility (SECUF), which includes Setup (I) for infrared measurements at low temperatures (T) and Setup (II) for infrared measurements at high magnetic fields. Therein, Setup (I) can be utilized to perform optical reflectance and transmission measurements down to 5 K in the energy range from 30 to 25000 cm-1, and Setup (II) can be employed to carry out magneto-infrared measurements in Faraday and Voigt geometries at static magnetic fields up to 20 T and at T = 4.2 K. Moreover, we showed the examples on the application of these two setups in infrared spectroscopy measurements.
