Thickness-dependent magnetic order and phase transition in V₅S₈

Structures and magnetic order of bulk V₅S₈. (a) The crystal structure of V₅S₈. V(1), V(2), and V(3) represent the inequivalent V atoms. Various magnetic orders considered in our calculation: (b) AFM-1, (c) AFM-2, and (d) AFM-3 are three different types of AFM magnetic orders and (e) FM is the one possible FM magnetic order. Especially, AFM-1 is the magnetic order of bulk V₅S₈ determined by the neutron diffraction measurements.^[40]
