The spreading dynamics obtained by the process of the LT model. The initial density of spreaders is p = 0.05 % on Twitter and p = 1 % on Brightkite. Panel (a) shows the decaying spreading process on Twitter when the resistance of each node is random from the uniform distribution. Panel (b) plots the bursty pattern and the asynchronism of the spreading process when the resistance is negatively correlated with the in-degree of node. Panels (c) and (d) show the counterparts on Brightkite.
