Distribution of the cVBS (a) and sVBS (b) order parameters for an L=16(β=4L) system inside the cVBS phase, at (g,h)=(0.7,0.4). The distributions combine results of 10 independent runs, all of which were individually stuck in one out of the four cVBS patterns. The different weights of the four cVBS peaks reflect different numbers of runs stuck in the different patterns.
