Photonic band structure of the ideal perfect SiO2/InSb PC. (a)–(d) The dependence of the dispersion on the SiO2 and InSb layers’ thicknesses. Panels (e) and (f) are for the structures having layers of equal thicknesses. Color maps represent the variations of the structure transmittance versus frequency and thickness of the layers. InSb and SiO2 layers’ thicknesses are 4 μm in (a), (b) and (c), (d), respectively. The crystal temperature is 300 K and the incidence angle is normal to the crystal in all cases.
