Comparison of the fractional absorption of the Maxwellian function, the Kappa distribution, and the q-nonextensive distribution. The absorption in the Kappa distribution is closer to that in the Maxwellian function than the q-nonextensive function. The Maxwellian function has the highest rate of absorption at all the intensities.
