Growth of high quality Sr₂IrO₄ epitaxial thin films on conductive substrates

The XRD patterns of (a) Sr₂IrO₄/SrTiO₃ (001) films and (b) Sr₂IrO₄/SrTiO₃:Nb (001) samples grown at different substrate temperatures. The black stars mark the impurity phase peaks. (c) Temperature dependence of the structure of different SrO layer number phases. Temperatures in the phase III range indicate the substrate temperature for Sr₂IrO₄ epitaxial film growth.
