BF images of specimens (a) LT2.4, (d) LT4.8, and (g) LT9.6. Helium irradiation induced an irradiated layer with a thickness around 1330 nm, which was followed by the non-irradiated bulk. The corresponding SAED patterns taken from the non-irradiated area and irradiated area are respectively shown in panels (b), (e), (h) and (c), (f), (i). The SAED patterns in panels (b), (e), and (h) are indexed with the zone axes of [21 3 ¯ 0], [21 3 ¯ 0], and [10 1 ¯ 0], respectively.
