The volume fractions of Bi-V are plotted as a function of pressure at different compression rates. The solid symbols show the experimental data, and the solid lines are the fitting curves based on Eq. (5). The dashed line is the onset transition pressure across the transition from Bi-III to Bi-V previously reported in static high pressure experiments.
