(color online) Typical CNA snapshots of the Cu-0.7 at.% Ni bicrystal configuration with Σ9(114)/⟨110⟩ GB under the shear loaded along direction. Increasing the radii of impurity atoms to over 15 times those of solute atoms is for differentiating between those atoms easily in sequential figures. Purple arrow indicates the emitting partial dislocation, while the stair-rod dislocation and twin boundary are denoted by circle and dotted box. The applied strains in panels (a)–(c) are 0.071, 0.161, 0.263, respectively.
