Simulated grain growth in AZ31 alloy with and without applied stress for comparison with experiments at 623 K:[37,38] curves 1, 2, and 3 are simulations at a nucleation rate of 0.010, obtained by our model setup, and the growth rates are different obtained by fitting the simulation data to Eq. (12); curves 2 and 3 become curves 4 and 5 respectively if the nucleation rate is varied accordingly.
