(color online) ((a) and (b)) Schematics of monolayer–bilayer–monolayer graphene in two different stacking structures, respectively. The ribbon junction can be separated into three parts: the left/right monolayer graphene leads and the central part. The disorder only appear in the central bilayer graphene region with size . In panels (a) and (b), N = 5 and L = 13. Panels (c) and (d) show the energy bands of the three parts with and without the magnetic field. The parameters are set to be N = 80, = 0.14t, U = 0.1t, B = 0 (c), and B = 100 T (d).
