Compton profiles of NiO and TiO₂ obtained from first principles GWA spectral function

Compton profiles (in units of e/a.u.) obtained along the given directions for NiO (a) and TiO₂ (b). For the NiO case, we see the existence of a more gradual drop to zero after the Fermi break. The Compton profile for TiO₂ shows a slightly higher profile at the origin owing to a constant momentum density at lower momenta.
