Variations of the electron probability density distribution for the Rydberg hydrogen in a gradient electric field with the position of the detector plane. The scaled energy is ε = −0.1. The scaled electric field gradient is α = 3.0. The positions of the detector plane are (a) z0 = −0.01, (b) z0 = −0.05, (c) z0 = −0.1, (d) z0 = −0.3, (e) z0 = −0.5, and (f) z0 = −0.8, respectively.
