The levitation force as a function of the height of the small magnet above the center of the superconducting sphere for three different lateral displacements along the x axis: η = 0.02 cm, 0.06 cm, 0.10 cm. The inset represents expanding the scale of the height in the region between 0.60 cm and 0.62 cm. The following parameters have been used: μ = 0.2 G·cm3, R = 0.50 cm, θ = 45°, and ϕ = 45°.
