Joining lane behavior by a group of pedestrians in bidirectional pedestrian flow is examined. (a) The initialization of the simulated pedestrians is performed. (b) A small lane is formed, while crossing the counter flow and joining the lower lane. (c) Similar behavior is performed, while penetrating local density exceeding 5 m−1.
