Modulation of terahertz generation in dual-color filaments by an external electric field and preformed plasma

Experimental setup. THz emission was generated from the dual-color pulses. Parallel electrodes with 1.4-cm spacing are used to provide an external electric field. A weak FW pulse is overlapped with the dual-color pulses, which introduces plasma to control the THz emission.
