Anomalous phase transition of InN nanowires under high pressure

Rietveld refinements of the experimental XRD patterns on the upstroke at 0.5 GPa with the wurtzite-type structure, at 14.1 GPa with the coexistence of wurtzite-type and rocksalt-type structures, at 22.2 GPa and 35.5 GPa with the rocksalt-type structure, and at 1 atm on the downstroke with the coexistence of wurtzite-type and rocksalt-type structures. Residuals of the Rietveld refinements are plotted below the experimental (circles) and the fitted (lines) XRD profiles. The peaks labeled Fe are from the gasket. The upper-right insets are the diffraction ring images corresponding to the one-dimensional diffraction profiles at different pressures.
