Plural interactions of space charge wave harmonics during the development of two-stream instability

Dependence of wavenumber k on SCW frequency ω in the area of the critical frequency ω _cr. Two curves OB and OC originate from one at frequencies exceeding the critical frequency ω _cr (point O ). The dashed curve OA corresponds to dispersion relation ( 13 ). The curve OA above the critical frequency does not coincide with any of the curves of eigenwaves ( OB and OC ). Calculations were performed with the same parameters as those in Fig. 1 .
