Plural interactions of space charge wave harmonics during the development of two-stream instability

Dependence of growth increment Γ on harmonic number m . The frequency of the first SCW harmonic is ω ₁ = 3.2 · 10¹¹ s⁻¹, ω _opt is the optimal frequency of the two-stream instability, and ω _cr is the critical frequency. We consider the case of ω _p1 = ω _p2 = ω _p = 1.5 · 10¹¹ s⁻¹, γ ₁ = 4.8, and γ ₂ = 4.2.
