Relaxed structure of the (MgO)₈/(BaTiO₃)₅ (110) heterostructure with an n-type (MgO)⁰/(BaTiO)^{4 +} interface, containing 8 unit cells (four layers) of MgO and 5 unit cells of BaTiO₃ within the heterostructure. Index n denotes atomic monolayers and is increasing with the distance from the surface.
