To measure the absorption coefficient at position r , the new method is composed of three main steps. Step 1: according to Eq. ( 8 ), all I acoustic waves are decomposed easily and respectively to obtain the sector ring coefficient and the position collection ; Step 2: by analyzing , j̄ _{( r,i )} is easily obtained and means that the position r is located in the j̄ _{( r,i )}-th sector ring for the i -th detector.
