Fast-electron-impact study on excitations of 4d electron of xenon

The electron energy loss spectrum of xenon measured at an impact energy of 1500 eV and a scattering angle of 6°. Herein the prime in the electronic configuration means the Rydberg series converges to 4d⁹²D_3/2, in order to distinguish with the Rydberg series converging to 4d⁹²D_5/2.
