Hysteresis loops as a function of mechanical stress ( P / Y ): A = 0.06, B = 0.07, C = 0.08, D = 0.09, E = 0.10, F = 0.11, for (a) a sample containing 20% VO and 80% VM with pinned electric dipoles in the + z direction (1%) and (b) a defect-free sample.
