摘要: Using periodic refractive index perturbations, the Brillouin zone is folded, transforming the guided modes in a metasurface into guided resonances with arbitrarily high quality-factors. The incorporation of phase change materials within the metasurface enables dynamic modulation of the guided modes. The system's symmetry ensures a polarization-independent response under normal incidence. Furthermore, the metasurface exhibits excellent sensing performance, demonstrating its potential for advanced photonic applications.
