摘要: Statistical-mechanical entropy arising from the electromagnetic field in the general four-dimensional static black hole spacetime is investigated by means of the "brick wall" model. An expression for the entropy is obtained and some examples are considered. The results show that the entropy arising from the electromagnetic field is exactly twice the one for a massless scalar field.
