The electron filling per orbital per spin as a function of the crystal field splitting Δ for three selected total electron filling N = 1.05, 1.50, 1.90, respectively. Here, U/t = 4.90, J_z = 0.25U. Note that the upper orbital is marked as “orb1" and the lower orbital is marked as “orb2”.
