Spin–orbit coupled Bose–Einstein condensates with Rydberg-dressing interaction

Level scheme of atoms imposed by a two-photon Raman-induced SOC and a Rydberg-dressing interaction. Two spin states | a 〉 and | b 〉 are coupled by counter-propagating Raman lasers. The atoms in the state | a 〉 interact with each other by a long-range Rydberg-dressing potential, which can be realized by an effective off-resonant Rydberg transition.
