Optimized surface structures of Au on the top of Cl (a) and surface oxygen (b) of the CeOCl (111) surface, as well as the valence electron densities in the (110) plane of (c) Au on Cl top and (d) Au on surface O top. The electron-density contours start from 0.01 e /a.u.3, and increase successively by a factor of 101/5.
