Generation of cluster states for cavity fields

Abstract  This paper proposes an alternative scheme for generating cluster-type of entangled coherent states. This scheme is based on resonant interaction of a two-mode cavity with a two-level atom driven by strong classical fields. Thus the required interaction time is greatly shortened, which is very important in view of decoherence.
